The Winstar Municipal Traffic Camera Monitoring System provides high-definition video surveillance to monitor vehicle, pedestrian, and community activity in real time. Built for municipalities and law enforcement, this system is well-suited for roads, intersections, public facilities, and areas of elevated risk such as high-crime zones or drug activity hot spots. Its advanced optics and low-light performance ensure clear, consistent video capture day or night, in any weather. Municipalities can configure the system for roadway monitoring, pedestrian safety, neighborhood watch programs, or general security applications. This system is fully upgradeable — allowing municipalities to begin with camera-based monitoring today and later expand with radar and license plate recognition (LPR) for complete traffic data collection and enforcement.
With IP65-rated weather protection, AC or solar power options, and secure web-based control, the system delivers dependable performance and flexible deployment across diverse environments.
For long-term reliability and high-volume operation, we recommend A/C Wired power with a direct ethernet connection, installed by a Winstar Professional Installation Partner or a qualified local contractor. Please review our Recommended Installation Guide and Specifications.
