The Winstar Community LPR Traffic Camera System uses advanced ALPR (Automated License Plate Recognition) with high-definition imaging to capture accurate plate reads across multiple lanes—day or night, in any weather. Optimized low-light performance and infrared illumination ensure clear, consistent video capture around homes, HOAs, schools, and community centers. Neighborhoods can configure the system for traffic calming, entrance monitoring, pedestrian safety, or general community security. This system is fully upgradeable — allowing communities to begin with camera-based traffic monitoring or license plate recognition (LPR) today, and later add radar for complete speed data collection and enhanced enforcement.
With IP65-rated weather protection, AC or solar power options, and secure web-based control, this system delivers dependable results and is fully expandable to meet any traffic safety or enforcement need.
For long-term reliability and high-volume operation, we recommend A/C Wired power with a direct ethernet connection, installed by a Winstar Professional Installation Partner or a qualified local contractor. Please review our Recommended Installation Guide and Specifications.
